 How much equipment do I have to have for you to come to pick it up?

Our policy regarding recycling for businesses is basically this: no job is too big or small. For large companies and corporate facilities, we are able to offer a wide range of programs that will suit your needs. These programs, depending on your situation, include asset management, packing, skidding and full trucking services. We are specialist in offering multi-location solutions, should you have more than one facility storing equipment.

For the smaller jobs, we try and schedule several others in your area, so as to lessen overall costs and pass the savings on to you. If your schedule is flexible in that regard, we will have no problem coming to your business (home businesses excluded - see below for residential information).

 What is the procedure for getting my electronic scrap recycled?

You may contact us either by telephone, email, or instant message. We suggest emailing us with an introduction of yourself and a quick overview of the equipment you would like to have removed. It would be helpful if this information included model/part numbers, quantities and condition (working, cosmetic issues, cracks, etc.). In this preliminary evaluation, we can determine up front if there is any resale value even before we make that first call back to you. We will, of course, get more in detail once our on-site evaluation is complete. This evaluation can be scheduled immediately, and we will work around your schedule.

 I only have an old PC and monitor stored in my garage. Can I sell them to you?

As with any type of consumer product, computers and the like do lose their "blue book" value fairly quickly. Whether or not we can actually give you money for your PC depends completely on the age and capacity, but for the most part, older equipment that has been in storage (because you've upgraded), has pretty much run its course, and a small fee would be incurred. We do not pay for CRT monitors. A recycling fee is incurred for those. Single unit keyboards, mice, cables, etc. will be accepted for recycling without fee.

 Can you pick up equipment at my home?

Due to liability constraints, we cannot service residences. We welcome you to bring the equipment yourself to our facility. Please call ahead of time to let us know when you will be coming in, and at that time we will be able to determine what the final fee will be. We ask that you either bring the exact cash amount, or we will accept your personal or business check.

 What is your policy regarding my privacy?

We do not subscribe to any type of mailing lists. We will not resell or distribute private information that we acquire in any way. All information acquired is exclusive to us. If you were to become a customer of ACT, all private information will remain in our possession. Email with utmost confidence that your information will remain in our possession, and will not be distributed in any way.

 Does ACT accept credit card payments?

At this time, we cannot accept direct credit card payments, but we can accept your credit cards through PayPal, the most popular, and secure, online payment service in use today. It is a quick and easy way to pay, and in most cases, your items are shipped same day.
